Job summary

Deswik Mining Consultants Pty Ltd is seeking a Key Account Manager for South Africa to own, retain, and expand a portfolio of mining customers from Johannesburg. The role sits in Business Development, with travel and client facing responsibilities across SA and beyond.

You will manage relationships with major mining clients, drive new business proposals, and negotiate contracts, while collaborating with global teams of consultants and engineers to deliver value from Deswik software solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales or key account management within enterprise environments.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiations.
• Deep understanding of site operations and mine planning challenges.
• Ability to connect people, processes, and technology to deliver value.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow relationships with a portfolio of key mining customers.
• Develop new business opportunities, prepare proposals, and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Partner with customer stakeholders from site teams to executives.
• Support high-quality software implementations and consulting services.
• Apply Deswik technology to solve mining problems.
• Maximise customer value and build long-term partnerships.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.
