GRTS is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to manage an established portfolio of major mining customers across Africa. The role combines mining expertise, technology and commercial responsibility, with regular travel to customer sites across the region.
You will nurture long-term relationships, identify opportunities to expand software and consulting solutions, and work closely with mining engineers and senior stakeholders to deliver value. Hybrid working in Johannesburg is offered.
I’m working with a global leader in mine planning and mining software that is looking to appoint an experienced Key Account Manager to manage and develop key mining customers across Africa.
This is not a traditional new-business sales role. You’ll take ownership of an established portfolio of customers, acting as a trusted point of contact, maintaining long-term relationships and identifying opportunities to expand the use of the company’s software and consulting solutions.
The role combines mining expertise, technology and commercial responsibility, working closely with major mining operations and regularly travelling to customer sites across Africa.
You’ll need a strong background within the mining industry, ideally supported by a degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Surveying or a related discipline.
This would suit an experienced mining technology professional who enjoys working closely with customers and wants to remain connected to the technical side of mining, without the role being focused purely on new‑business development or people management.
If you have a mining background, experience with mine planning software and have managed customers across Africa, I’d be keen to hear from you.
