Job summary

Steinmuller Africa invites applications for an IT Manager to lead the organisation's information technology function in South Africa. You will drive strategic IT initiatives, govern information security, manage infrastructure and cloud environments, and lead vendor management and budgeting efforts.

The role focuses on delivering secure, reliable, cost-effective technology services that support business continuity and operational performance, while developing the IT team and aligning technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years in Information Technology with at least 3 years in leadership roles.
• Experience in enterprise infrastructure, networks and business systems.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection and risk management.
• Experience implementing cloud technologies and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic IT leadership aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee IT governance, security controls and risk management.
• Manage infrastructure, systems, cloud environments and digital platforms.
• Lead business continuity, disaster recovery and service delivery.
• Direct vendor and contract management, budgeting and procurement.
• Develop and mentor the IT team to achieve departmental goals.
