Anexciting opportunity is available for an experienced Chief Information Officer(CIO) to provide strategic technology leadership within a large, complex andgeographically dispersed organisation.
Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing theorganisation’s technology strategy, driving digital transformation andinnovation, strengthening cybersecurity and technology governance, and ensuringthat technology solutions effectively support business growth and operationalexcellence.
Thisis a senior leadership role requiring a strong combination of strategic ITleadership, enterprise technology experience, commercial acumen and businesstransformation expertise.
KeyResponsibilities
- Developand execute an enterprise-wide technology strategy aligned with businessobjectives, growth and innovation.
- Actas a strategic technology adviser to senior leadership on digitaltransformation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and emergingtechnologies.
- Leaddigital innovation and technology-enabled operational excellence across theorganisation.
- Provideleadership across technology governance, enterprise architecture,infrastructure and technology standards.
- Leadand oversee major SAP S/4HANA or comparable ERP transformation programmes,including implementation, optimisation, adoption and benefits realisation.
- Leadcybersecurity, information-security governance, IT risk management andregulatory compliance.
- Overseedisaster recovery, business continuity and cyber-incident preparedness.
- Developand execute data and analytics strategies, including data governance, quality,accessibility and responsible data use.
- Identifyopportunities to leverage analytics, automation and artificial intelligence toimprove business decision-making.
- Managetechnology vendors, sourcing, licensing, commercial negotiations and technologyinvestment decisions.
- Developbusiness cases and cost-benefit analyses for significant technologyinvestments.
- ManageIT budgets and resources, ensuring appropriate cost control and investment.
Requirements
- Relevanttertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science,Engineering, Business Management or a related field.
- Atleast one recognised senior-level professional certification in informationsecurity, IT governance, risk, audit or enterprise architecture.
- 10+years’ progressive experience within information technology management.
- Atleast 5 years’ experience in a senior IT leadership position, withaccountability for enterprise or multi-site IT operations.
- Provenexperience developing and executing enterprise technology, cybersecurity, dataand ERP strategies.
- Demonstratedleadership of a major SAP S/4HANA or comparable ERP implementation,optimisation or transformation programme across multiple business units orgeographies.
- Strongunderstanding of manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, procurement, sales,distribution and aftermarket service processes.
- Broadexperience across enterprise architecture, infrastructure, networking, cloudservices, applications, end-user computing, service management and vendormanagement.
- Strongknowledge of cybersecurity, information security, data governance, privacy,disaster recovery, business continuity, IT risk and regulatory compliance.
- Provenexperience managing significant technology budgets, developing business casesand delivering measurable business benefits.
- Experienceleading and developing multidisciplinary teams within complex, geographicallydispersed organisations.
- Excellentcommunication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectivelywith executives, Board members and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingnessto undertake local and international travel as required.
