Job summary

The Focus Group in Sandton is seeking an experienced Space Planner and Interior Designer to lead space planning, design concepts and project coordination across client real-estate projects.

You will translate briefs, produce 3D visuals (Revit) and detailed drawings, source materials, manage vendors, and ensure on-time delivery through site visits, meetings and handovers. Based in Gauteng, collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in space planning or related roles.
• 3+ years in interior design experience.
• 2+ years in project management or coordination.

Responsibilities

• Interpret client briefs and present design concepts.
• Create 3D visuals and Revit models for approvals.
• Produce detailed working drawings and shop-fit specs.
• Source materials and furniture and liaise with suppliers.
• Coordinate with project team, consultants and contractors.
• Conduct site visits, snagging and quality checks.
