Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in insurance underwriting, with 3+ years in a management/supervisory role.
• Extensive knowledge of underwriting principles, risk management, and insurance products.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in underwriting systems and MS Office Suite.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach.
• Relevant professional underwriting designations (e.g., ACII, AU) are highly preferred.
• Experience in the Rustenburg or surrounding regions' insurance market is advantageous.

Responsibilities
