- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in underwriting software and standard office tools
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Responsibilities
- Analyze insurance applications to assess risk exposure
- Determine coverage terms and premiums based on guidelines
- Communicate with brokers, agents, and clients to gather information and explain decisions
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and products
- Collaborate with sales and claims to ensure customer experience and risk management
- Review and update underwriting policies and procedures as needed
