CA(SA) qualification is essential.
Strong hands-on IFRS 17 financial reporting experience.
Experience in the insurance or life insurance industry.
Ability to translate actuarial results into accounting entries.
Collaborates effectively with actuarial, IT and finance teams.

Responsibilities

Lead IFRS 17 reporting processes and ensure compliance.
Review IFRS 17 results, journals and disclosures.
Analyze CS M, LRC, LIC and related cash flows movements.
Collaborate with actuarial teams to interpret calculations.
Oversee reconciliations between actuarial systems, sub-ledgers and GL.
Prepare management and regulatory IFRS 17 reports.
Provide leadership to finance reporting professionals.
