Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Insurance Product Development Manager in Mahikeng to lead the design and lifecycle management of our insurance portfolio. You will drive market research, product design, pricing, and cross-functional collaboration to keep offerings competitive and compliant.

The role requires 6+ years in product management/ development within insurance, a business or finance background, and strong leadership to guide underwriting, actuarial, marketing, and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 6 years in product management or development, preferably in insurance.
• Strong understanding of insurance products, market dynamics and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities.
• Design, develop, and launch innovative insurance products from concept to market.
• Manage product lifecycle, including performance monitoring and pricing adjustments.
• Collaborate with underwriting, actuarial, marketing and sales teams for implementation.
• Develop product strategies, roadmaps and business cases for stakeholder buy-in.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to company standards.
