Job summary

MyCareerCraft is seeking a Procurement Manager for a premier hospitality site (hotel or convention venue) in Johannesburg. You will lead end-to-end procurement, ensure quality and compliance, and build strong supplier relationships to support high performance.

The role demands hands-on leadership, sharp commercial acumen, and a passion for hospitality. Ideal candidates hold a relevant degree in supply chain or procurement, with 3–5 years in procurement management within hospitality or large F&B

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
• CIPS certification or equivalent is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the procurement department and maintain financial process controls.
• Source quality products with key stakeholders and resolve supplier issues promptly.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies with clear objectives and timely reporting.
• Lead and develop the procurement team and manage the purchasing budget.
• Build strong supplier relationships and ensure audit-ready documentation.
