Job summary

West Coast Personnel is seeking a results-driven sales/account manager with strong connections in the fire protection and security sectors. The role focuses on developing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue through consultative selling and effective proposals.

Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in sales within the SA fire/security market, a robust professional network, and the ability to engage with senior decision-makers and engineers.

Qualifications

• Proven sales and/or account management experience within the fire protection and/or security industry.
• Established professional network within the South African fire and/or security sector.
• Demonstrable relationships with consulting engineers or equivalent stakeholders.
• Proven track record of generating and converting new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and industry stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the fire protection and/or security sectors.
• Build relationships with consulting engineers, contractors, developers, architects and other relevant stakeholders.
• Generate leads and maintain a consistent sales pipeline.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations and site visits.
• Identify client requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and tenders in collaboration with technical teams.
• Achieve agreed sales, revenue and business development targets.
