Job summary

Old Mutual seeks a seasoned Sales Leader to manage the organisation's sales function, leading a large team of advisers to develop relationships with prospective and existing clients for financial products and services.

The role covers strategy execution, account management, complex solution selling, and performance oversight across key accounts in the region. A Grade 12/FAIS compliant professional with leadership experience is required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 Matric with FSCA/FAIS compliance and ongoing CPD.
• Proven computer literacy including MS Office suite.
• Driver's license and own vehicle.
• Clear criminal and credit check required.
• 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of Group Schemes advantageous.
• Internal MODP experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the sales function to meet business requirements.
• Manage and develop a large team of advisers to build client relationships and stimulate demand for financial products.
• Define and implement strategic actions to achieve local business goals.
• Develop and execute relationship management plans for key accounts and complex customer segments.
• Configure and present solutions meeting mid- to long-term customer needs and negotiate terms.
• Build market awareness by representing the organization at sector events.
• Oversee performance management and drive accountability across the team.
• Promote customer focus through internal collaboration and external relationship building.
• Drive budgeting, organizational capability, and development planning for the team.
