Network Finance seeks a Financial Accountant in Gauteng to own monthly management accounts, IFRS reporting and intercompany reconciliations. You will drive accuracy in balance sheet reporting and support group consolidation, audits, and statutory filings.

The role collaborates with operations, supply chain and commercial teams to improve controls and reporting. Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in financial accounting, strong Excel, ERP experience, and exposure to Power BI or SQL.

Qualifications

• CA(SA), SAIPA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles advantageous.
• BCom Accounting, Finance, or related qualification.

Responsabilités

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Review month-end journals, accruals, and prepayments.
• Perform detailed variance analysis and provide commentary.
• Support group reporting and consolidation processes.
• Ensure reporting deadlines are met accurately and on time.
• Manage complex balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
• Investigate and resolve unusual variances and reconciling items.
• Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules.
• Manage inventory reconciliations, landed costs, and goods-in-transit reporting.
• Support foreign currency transactions and Forex accounting.
• Prepare VAT calculations and reconciliations.
• Assist with tax submissions and statutory reporting.
• Support annual audits and financial statement preparation.
• Work closely with auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
• Analyse financial trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve controls, reporting, and efficiencies.
• Participate in finance automation and process improvement projects.
