In this role, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, managing reconciliations, and supporting month-end processes. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, completed SAICA or SAIPA articles, and 3–5 years' experience in a financial accounting environment. A strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are crucial for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles.
• 3–5 years' post‑articles experience in a financial accounting environment.
• Strong financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and analysis.
• Manage general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Support month‑end and year‑end financial close processes.
• Review financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Monitor and strengthen internal controls across finance processes.
• Support external and internal audit requirements.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with operational teams to support financial planning.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
