Job summary

The JSE is seeking a Finance Business Partner to work closely with business unit Heads and deliver robust reporting, analysis and financial control of operating and capital costs. This role will lead FP&A, prepare financial information for decision making and drive process improvements across the function.

Ideal candidates hold a postgraduate degree, a BCom in Accounting and CA(SA) or similar, with at least four years post-articles experience in a finance business partnering role.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification with accounting foundation.
• CA(SA) or equivalent required or clearly in progress.
• Minimum 4 years post-articles experience in finance business partnering.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and planning processes with timely, accurate data and commentary.
• Provide financial guidance to stakeholders and support decision making.
• Deliver monthly management reporting with variance analysis and commentary.
• Drive cost controls and forecast accuracy across operating/capital costs.
• Develop forecasting models and support pricing and profitability analysis.
