Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to design and develop our data infrastructure and ensure data sources are secure and compliant. You will integrate information across systems to enable analytics for strategic decisions and future direction.

You will lead design of enterprise information architectures, drive data quality standards, and collaborate with IT and business units to realise value from data assets across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in computer science or information systems or equivalent IT degree.
• 8 years of architecture practice experience in complex environments.
• 5+ years in information architecture and solution design for enterprise systems.
• 5 years delivering large or small data solutions/projects.
• Experience leading information & data architecture teams.
• Familiarity with Microsoft, Oracle, SAP data systems and other platforms.
• Certifications in architecture practices (TOGAF, DAMA, UML, etc.) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptual and logical architecture design and roadmaps.
• Champion enterprise information architecture alignment across groups.
• Define information architecture standards, policies, and governance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data assets support business goals.

Education

BSc Computer Science or BComm Information Systems / Informatics

8 years of architecture practice experience

5 years in information architecture and solution design

5 years in implementing data architectures for enterprise systems

3 years leading information & data architecture teams

5 years delivering data/ information solutions/projects

TOGAF, DAMA, UML, eTOM, SOA & other architecture certifications
