Job summary

Clicks Group in Cape Town seeks a Divisional Finance Admin Manager to lead the Retail Business Development finance function. Based at Clicks Head Office, Cape Town, reporting to the Retail Finance Manager II, you will manage budgets, prepare statements, monitor performance and ensure policy compliance.

Role focuses on improving divisional profitability through cost-saving initiatives, audits readiness, and supporting management with sound financial decisions.

Qualifications

• Essential: CA (SA), CIMA, B.Com (Finance or Accounting) or B. Compt.
• Minimum 3 years heading up a sizable finance function as a management accountant.
• At least 3 years experience in a financial managerial role and in retail/FMCG.
• Desirable: Exposure to SAP, SCM and MMS.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan the division’s annual budget and forecasts.
• Compile the division’s monthly financial statements and reviews.
• Monitor divisional performance and drive corrective actions.
• Participate in scorecard meetings for continuous improvement.
• Identify profitable opportunities and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with policies, internal controls and audits.
• Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are performed and reviewed.
• Assist with acquisitions, due diligence, onboarding, and system integration.
