Job summary

Cipla Africa is seeking a Demand Planner for Supply Chain Management in Cape Town. In-Office role within the Integrated Planning department, reporting to the Demand Planning Manager.

The position focuses on developing and maintaining forecast models to meet sales targets while optimizing stock levels and costs. Qualified candidates will have a tertiary degree, 3+ years of experience, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of forecasting methods.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary degree or diploma is required.
• Experience in forecasting and knowledge of forecasting methods is essential.
• Strong analytics and numerics skills required.
• Advanced Excel skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain forecast models using supply chain resources and demand processes.
• Monitor and analyze forecast reports to ensure accuracy for stakeholders.
• Manage inventory targets to meet current and future demand.
• Maintain demand planning systems and data documentation incorporating market intelligence.
