Job summary

Beiersdorf seeks a Demand Planner for S&OP leadership in Durban. You will steer cross-functional meetings, align forecasts with financial and marketing plans, and manage promotions with cross-functional teams to maximize service at optimal cost.

The role requires 2–3 years in operational demand planning (FMCG a plus) and strong skills in statistical forecasting, SAP APO, Power BI, Analysis for Office and PowerQuery. English essential.

Qualifications

• 3-year undergraduate degree is required.
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in operational demand planning; FMCG a plus.
• Strong knowledge of statistical forecasting methods and analytics tools (Power BI, Analysis for Office, PowerQuery).
• Ability to challenge methods, work independently and build partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Steer cross-functional S&OP meetings and ensure timely data delivery.
• Deliver an aligned S&OP plan with clear risk/opportunity visibility and underlying assumptions.
• Reconcile demand forecasts with latest financial, sales and marketing plans to support objectives.
• Manage VAS promotions and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure availability and cost control.
