Job summary

Indsafri is seeking a Data Architect to shape and drive the Investments data strategy through enterprise data architecture design, governance, and scalable platforms. You will educate stakeholders on data platforms, best practices, and data-driven decision making.

The role acts as a strategic advisor to leadership, guiding AI investments, platform modernisation, and data-centric operating models across Finance, Client Services, and People perspectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8–12+ years’ experience in data architecture, data modelling, data analytics, machine learning, or enterprise data management.
• Proven experience in leading enterprise-scale data architecture and transformation initiatives.
• Deep understanding of data frameworks, governance, metadata, and master data principles.
• Strong proficiency in database technologies, data integration patterns, and modern data platforms (cloud and on-premises).
• Proven experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud data services.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and socialisation of the organisation’s data and AI architecture in line with the data strategy.
• Own the enterprise-wide data architecture roadmap across multiple domains and platforms.
• Translate strategic objectives into tactical plans for data and AI projects and platform enhancements.
• Design and govern enterprise data and AI models, flows, and integration patterns for scalability and interoperability.
• Monitor execution to ensure alignment with standards and business value across programmes.
