Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Corporate Treasurer to manage liquidity, capital structure, and financial risk from its North West operations. The role drives cash management, debt issuance, investments, and FX hedging while aligning with strategic objectives.

Lead treasury governance, systems implementation, and strategic financial planning, contributing to growth and robustness of the finance function across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline.
• Master's degree or professional certification (CTP, CFA) is highly desirable.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, banking, or financial risk management.
• Proven experience in cash management, debt financing, capital markets, and FX hedging.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and risk management principles.
• Expertise in financial modeling and analysis related to treasury functions.
• Proficiency in TMS and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement treasury strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize risk.
• Oversee daily cash management operations including forecasting and disbursement.
• Manage relationships with banks for credit facilities and services.
• Lead debt issuance and refinancing to optimize cost of capital.
• Develop and manage short-term investment strategies for excess cash.
• Implement hedging strategies for FX and interest rate risks.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and controls.
• Prepare treasury reports for senior management and board.
• Evaluate treasury management systems and fintech solutions.
• Advise on financial implications of strategic business decisions.
