Placements24 is seeking an experienced Construction Operations Manager to oversee projects in the Mahikeng area. This hybrid role combines strategic remote planning with on-site leadership to ensure efficient delivery, safety, and adherence to budgets and schedules.

You will lead site teams, manage subcontractors, and optimize processes across projects, focusing on quality, environmental compliance, and profitability while building strong client and regulatory relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in construction management with leadership in operations.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and project lifecycle.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of construction operations including planning, scheduling, and resources.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Manage subcontractor relationships, performance and contractual obligations.
• Implement and enforce health and safety policies across sites.
• Optimize construction processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop relationships with clients, stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
