Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead community development initiatives in Randburg. You will plan, implement, and oversee programs that improve social, economic, and environmental well-being for local communities.

You will manage budgets, coordinate diverse teams, and build partnerships with local government, NGOs, and community members to deliver lasting impact across Gauteng. Flexible hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Social Sciences, Public Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of program management experience in non-profit or community sectors.
• Proven track record managing complex projects and diverse teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership abilities.
• Experience with grant writing and fundraising is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic community development programs from start to finish.
• Oversee budgets with efficient resource allocation.
• Build relationships with community members, local government, NGOs, and stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor program staff and volunteers.
• Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and report to management and funders.
• Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and partnerships.
