Spitz is seeking a Commercial Planning and Analytics Executive in Johannesburg to drive the evolution of planning into an insight-led, technology-enabled capability. You will lead cross-functional teams, interpret large datasets and translate insights into commercially actionable decisions at senior levels.

The role focuses on forecasting, inventory & commercial performance, and planning capability evolution within a premium fashion retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail analytics, planning and BI.
• Strong ability to translate data into actionable commercial insights.
• Proven track record in driving forecasting and inventory productivity.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams at senior level.
• Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate business strategy into integrated planning frameworks.
• Analyze trading performance and product trends to identify opportunities.
• Interrogate assumptions and provide commercially grounded recommendations.
• Lead end-to-end planning across categories and channels.
• Oversee demand forecasting, assortment planning and inventory optimization.
• Drive evolution of planning through better systems and reporting.
• Influence stakeholders across Creative, Retail, Buying, and IT.
