Absa Group is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to lead enterprise cyber security and information security capabilities. The role drives strategic cyber risk management, threat intelligence, resilience, and regulatory compliance while partnering with the Board and executives to embed security in business strategy and technology initiatives.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 15 years of progressive experience in cyber security, information security, technology risk or related fields.
• 8-10 years' leadership experience managing large-scale cyber security functions.
• Demonstrated experience engaging executive committees, boards and regulators on cyber security and technology risk matters.
• Significant experience leading enterprise cyber transformation programmes.
• Postgraduate qualification in Technology, Cyber Security, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
• MBA, MSc Information Security or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Define, maintain and execute Absa's enterprise cyber security strategy and operating model.
• Lead cyber risk management, security operations, cyber defence and resilience initiatives.
• Oversee security architecture, identity & access management, and secure development practices.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, assurance activities and effective risk reporting.
• Represent Absa in external forums, regulators and industry collaborations.
• Lead and develop high-performing cyber security teams and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
