Job summary

Communicate Finance seeks an experienced financial leader to head the group’s financial strategy across multiple entities and regions. The role centers on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to drive profitability and value creation.

You will partner with the executive team on strategic decisions, manage project costing, working capital and treasury, while ensuring IFRS compliance, audits, and strong internal controls across operations.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) or CIMA qualified
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior finance role
• Experience in construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, mining or contracting
• Strong project accounting and contract costing expertise
• Experience managing multi-site or multi-entity operations
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to influence decisions
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting and reporting functions.
• Partner with the executive team on strategic business decisions.
• Manage project profitability, contract costing, cash flow and working capital.
• Provide financial oversight across multiple operating entities and projects.
• Oversee treasury, banking relationships, guarantees and financial risk management.
• Ensure IFRS, taxation, audits and corporate governance compliance.
• Support commercial decision-making on tenders, contracts, major projects and investments.
• Strengthen financial systems, reporting processes and internal controls.
• Travel regularly to regional operations as required.
