Job summary

Raubex Group Ltd in Gauteng seeks a motivated Buyer / Stock Controller to manage purchasing, stock levels, and inventory control.

You will source and purchase products, negotiate terms, process orders, conduct stock counts, and improve supplier performance while maintaining accurate records.

The role requires Excel proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure; a valid driver's license and own transport are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 (relevant qualifications will be advantageous).
• Experience in buying, procurement, or stock control.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Own transport.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase products, materials, and supplies.
• Negotiate pricing and delivery terms with suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
• Process purchase orders and track deliveries.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Analyse stock movement and forecast purchasing requirements.
• Ensure stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
• Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate supplier performance.
