Raubex Group Ltd is seeking a highly motivated Buyer / Stock Controller to join the team. The role focuses on managing purchasing activities, maintaining optimal stock levels and ensuring efficient inventory control across Gauteng.

Key duties include sourcing, negotiating terms, monitoring inventory, processing orders, and conducting regular stock counts to reconcile discrepancies. Strong Excel skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Competenze

• Grade 12 or equivalent; additional qualifications are advantageous.
• Experience in buying, procurement or stock control.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with inventory management systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Purpose of the Role:

A highly motivated and detail-oriented Buyer / Stock Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing purchasing activities, maintaining optimal stock levels, and ensuring efficient inventory control

Key Responsibilities

• Source and purchase products, materials, and supplies.
• Negotiate pricing and delivery terms with suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
• Process purchase orders and track deliveries.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Analyse stock movement and forecast purchasing requirements.
• Ensure stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
• Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate supplier performance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 (relevant qualifications will be advantageous)
• Previous experience in buying, procurement, or stock control.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Own transport
