Hire Resolve in Johannesburg is seeking a talented Business Intelligence Analyst to transform data into actionable insights that guide business decisions across departments. You will collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources, develop dashboards with Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView, and present findings clearly to stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives.

A Bachelor's degree is required, with proficiency in SQL and experience in BI tools; knowledge of Python/R and cloud platforms

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field is required.
• Proven experience as a BI analyst, data analyst, or similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to derive insights from data.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis, data modeling, and predictive analytics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for non-technical audiences.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL is desirable; Python/R and cloud platforms are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyse data from multiple sources and systems.
• Use SQL queries, data mining, and statistics to extract insights and trends.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and visualisations with Tableau/Power BI/QlikView.
• Present findings clearly to facilitate understanding and decision-making.
• Translate data into actionable insights for strategic initiatives.
• Identify KPIs and metrics to measure business performance and progress.
• Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and techniques.
• Develop user guides and training materials to empower stakeholders in using data.
• Ensure data integrity by implementing governance policies and QA processes.
• Perform data validation and cleansing to maintain high data quality.
