Boardroom Appointments is seeking an Applications Development Manager to oversee IT projects and teams, ensuring resources meet business application requirements. You will drive governance, cost control, and service improvements across IT initiatives, partnering with stakeholders to translate business strategy into actionable IT plans.

The role requires experience in SDLC, software architecture, and delivering projects on time, with a focus on cost efficiency and client service quality.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years programming experience as an Application Systems Analyst Programmer or 4 to 5 years experience as a Developer.
• Experience with software architecture design- services / API design or monolith applications
• Have functional knowledge on SDLC and management of development resources
• Used software development tools: Microsoft VS, ASP.NET, Camunda, TSQL, Java
• Degree- IT or computer science

Responsibilities

• Drive cost-efficient IT solutions to improve profitability and service delivery.
• Manage budgets and align targets across functional IT areas.
• Develop an IT service culture with stakeholder engagement and innovation.
• Collaborate with end-users, SMEs, PMs and senior staff to refine business requirements.
• Ensure timely resolution of IT service requests and project execution within timelines.
• Translate business strategies into actionable IT projects and measure performance.
• Maintain governance, contracts, and SLAs for IT development.
• Plan and manage IT projects to ensure successful implementation and stakeholder prioritization.
