Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks a Head of Applications Delivery to lead the end-to-end IT applications portfolio. You will supervise a team of analysts, developers, project managers and support staff, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and delivering business benefits.

The role requires managing complex projects, steering committees, and collaboration with senior stakeholders to drive automation and effective solution delivery across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering IT projects across large organisations.
• Proficiency in facilitating workshops with business users to gather requirements and validate designs.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (PMBOK/Prince2) and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete portfolio of IT Applications and Development Projects.
• Manage resources including business analysts, developers, project managers and applications support staff.
• Chair the project steering committee and line-manage staff.
• Document and manage project scope, schedule and dependencies.
• Manage external vendors and monthly billing; control budgets and spend.
