Staff Unlimited Recruitment is seeking an Accountant to join our client in the Agriculture industry in Kirkwood. You will manage the company’s financial affairs, ensure strict controls, and oversee day-to-day administrative activities.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Accounting with at least three years of experience, strong governance knowledge, and solid MS Office skills for reporting and processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; further qualifications and designations advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience.
• Knowledge of accounting and financial principles and practices.
• Understanding of governance principles and practices.
• Computer literacy – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and financial reporting software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and coordinate finance-related activities for the business.
• Assist in preparation of annual budgets and monitor actual spending vs budget.
• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts.
• Report to stakeholders on financial matters.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and oversee day-to-day cash flow.
