Job summary

adidas is seeking a proactive Visual Merchandiser to ensure captivating store displays in Cape Town. You will cascade VM guidance to staff, lead by example, and maintain global standards to enhance the customer shopping experience.

You will train coworkers on visual merchandising techniques, monitor fashion trends, and collaborate with the VM team to optimize space and product presentation. A background in retail VM and a passion for fashion and sports are preferred.

Qualifications

• Matric Certification is required.
• 2–3 years of visual merchandising experience in a retail environment is required.
• Interest in fashion and sports is desirable.
• English skills are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Cascade information from Regional VM Manager to Store Manager and staff through training and meetings.
• Drive sales through VM by ensuring adherence to global standards and high-quality displays.
• Create clear Shop-In-Shop presentations and ensure proper use of in-store communications tools.
• Lead store staff, organize tasks, and conduct weekly and monthly VM activities and audits.
• Train coworkers on global Visual Merchandising standards and wardrobe presentation techniques.
• Stay informed on fashion trends and competitor activity and report needs to Market VM Manager.
