Requirements
- Minimum Grade 10 or equivalent qualification. Ability to work under pressure. Good interpersonal, planning and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Sound verbal and written communication skills. Ability to conduct oneself with highest levels of honesty, integrity, reliability and self-motivation. Ability to handle tasks of multidisciplinary nature and handle heavy objects from time to time. Knowledge of warehouse operations and Batho Pele Principles. Have good work ethics. Current and previous EPWP interns are encouraged to apply.
Duties
- Receiving and packing stock or asset delivered by suppliers. Pulling stock from shelves and putting it on the pallets. Dispatching stock or assets to different points within the hospital. Keeping shelves and storage areas clean and neat, and reporting damaged or neglected stock / assets. Be prepared to work overtime as and when the need arises, carrying out any lawful and reasonable instruction from supervisors and line managers. Observe and comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements within the warehouse. Must be willing to rotate between the Warehouse and Assets components and comply with the rotation roster. Be willing to undergo continuous trainings, attend meetings and development activities in order to comply with Performance Management and Development System.
