The Gauteng Department of Health is seeking a Warehouse/Assets Clerk to receive, pack and dispatch stock, and to keep shelves clean and organized. The role requires a Grade 10 or equivalent and entails working both independently and in a team, with a readiness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities include rotating between Warehouse and Assets, and adhering to Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 10 or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team.
• Sound verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and Batho Pele Principles.
• Current and previous EPWP interns are encouraged to apply.

Responsabilités

• Receiving and packing stock or assets delivered by suppliers.
• Pulling stock from shelves and placing on pallets.
• Dispatching stock or assets to different points within the hospital.
• Keeping shelves and storage areas clean and reporting damaged stock/assets.
• Willing to rotate between Warehouse and Assets components and to work overtime when needed.
• Observe Occupational Health and Safety Act requirements.
