Qualifications

• Previous stock control, stores or warehouse experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong Excel skills, numeracy and administrative accuracy.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow established processes.

Responsibilities

• Accurately capture stock receipts, issues, returns and movements.
• Maintain stock records and reconcile with system records.
• Verify source documents, BOMs and material information before capturing transactions.
• Assist with cycle counts and stock control, as well as handling offcuts and quality control.
• Perform final quality checks against job cards, dimensions, tolerances, finish, quantities and workmanship.
• Use basic precision measuring equipment and report defects or questionable work.
• Prepare and verify goods for dispatch and collection, ensuring correct items and quantities.
• Coordinate dispatch documentation, collections and route requirements.
• Maintain clear records and report shortages, discrepancies, damage and quality concerns.
