Job summary

Tracker South Africa is seeking a dedicated stock controller to manage issuing and receiving stock and maintain accurate inventory across Randburg operations. The role requires 2–3 years in inventory control and experience with stock management systems.

Strong analytical attention to detail and the ability to identify root causes of issues are essential. This role supports timely fulfilment and reliable stock availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in inventory or stock control environment
• Experience working with inventory management systems
• Able to quickly grasp a problem and determine several possible causes for a problem
• Attends to detail when analyzing a problems
• Able to identify the root cause of the problem in own area of responsibility
• Can analyse / study information and act out of own accord

Responsibilities

• Process and manage all stock issuing and receiving activities in line with approved requests
• Ensure accurate capturing and allocation of stock to branches and service teams
• Verify quantities and documentation for all incoming and outgoing stock
• Action stock requests within agreed timelines
• Ensure all requests are validated, approved, and processed accurately
• Continuously monitor stock levels to ensure availability of key items
• Proactively identify low stock levels and communicate replenishment requirements
• Provide regular feedback to relevant stakeholders on stock positions
• Maintain clear communication with requestors regarding status of requests
• Escalate delays, shortages, or issues that impact service delivery
• Investigate discrepancies, variances, and missing stock; perform root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Maintain detailed records of investigations and outcomes
• Ensure all stock movements are recorded in relevant systems
• Adhere to internal stock control procedures and audit requirements
• Support stock counts and reconciliation processes

Tracker is looking for a stock controller to effectively manage the issuing and receiving of stock to ensure accurate inventory control, timely fulfilment of requests, and optimal stock availability across Fitment Centres, Technicians, and Regional Offices.

• Process and manage all stock issuing and receiving activities in line with approved requests
• Ensure accurate capturing and allocation of stock to Fitment Centres, Technicians, and Regional Offices.

• Action stock requests received from Fitment Centres, Technicians, and Regional Offices within agreed timelines
