Responsibilities

• Carry out regular stock takes across kitchen, bar and storage.
• Manage stock ordering, receiving and supplier reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate stock records and reporting systems.
• Monitor par levels and flag shortages or overstocking.
• Reconcile counts with invoices and delivery notes.
• Minimise wastage, breakages and discrepancies.
• Ensure FIFO across storage areas.
• Liaise with chefs and bar management on stock needs and cost control.
• Support month-end stock reporting and cost percentage tracking.

Core Criteria

• Previous stock control experience in a hospitality, restaurant, or lodge environment essential
• Solid understanding of food and beverage stock management, including par levels, ordering cycles, and wastage control
• Proficient with stock control systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong numerical and administrative skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work closely with kitchen, bar, and management teams
• High level of honesty and integrity when handling stock and financial records
• Physically able to manage stock handling, including lifting and moving goods
