Job summary

Jackie Cory Recruitment is seeking an Administrator to support cold storage operations within the Production Department. The role focuses on accurate inventory control, detailed record-keeping, and compliance with food safety and health regulations.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid driver's license, a Grade 12 certificate, and at least 5 years' experience in seafood processing, cold storage, or related food production.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.
• Grade 12 certificate is essential.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in seafood processing, cold storage, or food production.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word). Experience with Macro or Warehouse Management Systems is an advantage.
• HACCP, NRCS, or relevant industry certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Ensure stock records are updated daily, processing internal relocations, goods received, and goods issued. Assist with regular stock takes for various stock owners.
• Reporting & Admin: Maintain accurate stock records, temperature logs, and operational documentation. Prepare weekly labour reports, monthly operational reports, and assist with the administration of compliance with food safety and health regulations.
• Operational Support: Backup for the manager when required.
• Compliance: Support the Sales department with weekly stock records and support health, safety, and food compliance initiatives.
