Headhunters is seeking a stock control/warehouse professional to support daily cold storage and production operations in the Eastern Cape. You will maintain stock records, process relocations and stocktakes, and ensure accurate documentation of movements and temperature logs.

The role requires at least 5 years in seafood processing or food production, strong planning and leadership, and proficiency in Excel/Word. Overtime may be required to meet production demands.

Formación

• Grade 12 certificate is essential.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in seafood processing, cold storage, or food production.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Experience with macros or Warehouse Management Systems will be an advantage.
• HACCP, NRCS, or other relevant industry certifications will be advantageous.
• Strong planning, organisational, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a cold storage and production environment, including cold temperatures and prolonged periods of standing.
• Willingness to work beyond normal trading hours of 07:30 to 17:00 when required to meet production demands.

Responsabilidades

• Update daily stock records accurately and maintained.
• Process internal stock relocations, goods received, and goods issued.
• Assist with regular stocktakes for various stock owners.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock movements are properly documented.
• Maintain temperature logs and operational documentation.
• Prepare weekly labour reports and monthly operational reports.
• Assist with the administration and maintenance of food safety and health compliance records.
• Provide the Sales Department with weekly stock records and related information.
• Support food safety, health, and safety compliance initiatives.
• Provide operational and administrative support to the manager when required.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and adherence to established operational procedures.
• Work closely with the Production Department to support efficient daily cold storage operations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements within the production and cold storage environment.
• Assist with additional operational and administrative duties as required to meet production demands.
