Job summary

Sandvik Mining is seeking a seasoned Industrial Engineer to lead governance, development and implementation of operational standards across Workshop and Technical operations. You will drive standardisation, compliance and efficiency while supporting safety, quality and cost improvements.

The role requires 5+ years in Industrial Engineering or process improvement, knowledge of ISO standards, strong analytical skills and stakeholder engagement across cross-functional teams in mining or heavy

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
5+ years in Industrial Engineering, process improvement, or quality/standards management.
Experience in mining, heavy equipment, engineering or manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of ISO standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Responsibilities

Develop, review and maintain testing protocols, work methods and technical standards.
Translate legislation and ISO requirements into local operating requirements.
Analyse workflows to identify risk, waste and opportunities for cost savings.
Plan audits, observations and compliance reviews; close corrective actions.
Lead investigations and root-cause analysis; drive improvement priorities.
Develop implementation plans, train stakeholders and ensure correct standard application.
Prepare reports, dashboards and provide technical advisory support.
