AECOM is seeking a Stakeholder Engagement Consultant to join the Environmental EC team in a hybrid role based in Gauteng. The position focuses on communications development for major infrastructure projects, stakeholder engagement, and public affairs across diverse audiences.

You will map stakeholders, support consultation, and deliver engaging, accessible communications while coordinating events and client relations with a strong focus on inclusion and service quality.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in a relevant subject such as social sciences, politics, geography or related field.
• Experience in communications or public affairs within infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Strong interest in infrastructure, transport, energy, water or development sectors and ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Proactive, ambitious, able to work independently and in a team, with ideas for engagement.
• Excellent communication skills, cultural awareness and focus on inclusion and accessibility.

Responsabilidades

• Develop communications strategies and delivery plans for major infrastructure projects including consent orders.
• Create messages and collateral for multiple audiences, including media, communities and statutory bodies.
• Identify creative ways to communicate complex ideas and manage communications channels.
• Identify stakeholders, map engagement strategies, and deliver engagement plans.
• Plan and deliver virtual events, coordinate logistics, prepare Q&As, and brief colleagues.
• Liaise with clients, provide high-quality service and maintain timely reporting.
