Job summary

Ideal candidates hold MSc/BSc in Acoustics or related field and memberships in IOA/ANC/ASA, with experience in consultancy for varied projects. Office-based in Pretoria and remote work options apply.

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm, self-motivation, a team approach and customer focus.
• Relevant consultancy experience in environmental acoustics for a variety of project types and sizes.
• Proven ability to deliver client expectations to budget and timescale.
• Excellent technical report writing, personal organisation and communication skills.
• Experience of acoustic prediction using spreadsheets and industry recognised software.

Responsibilities

• Data processing and analysis of noise and vibration measurement surveys.
• Calculation and assessment of environmental acoustics.
• Computer modelling predictions and optimisations.
• Preparation of technical reports.
• Attend and participate in project meetings.
