Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as Staff Nurse.

• Grade 2 requires a minimum of 10 years’ relevant nursing experience after registration with SANC.
• Grade 3 requires a minimum of 20 years’ relevant nursing experience after registration with SANC.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
• Good communication and ability to function in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office).

Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification: Qualification that allows you registration with South African Nursing Council as a Staff Nurse.
• Registration with a professional council: Registration with SANC as Staff Nurse.
• Experience: Grade 1: None.
• Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years’ appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration with SANC as Staff Nurse.
• Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years’ appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration with SANC as Staff Nurse.
• Inherent requirement of the job: Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
• Competencies (knowledge/skills): Good communication skills.
• Ability to function independently, as well as in a multi-disciplinary team to ensure good patient care.
• Basic Computer literacy (MS Office).
