Job summary

Performability Recruitment (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Sr Graphic Designer focused on packaging and POS design. The role is based on-site in the Umhlanga side of Durban, working with brands to create eye-catching packaging, labels and point-of-sales displays for consumer products.

You will collaborate with industrial designers, account managers and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are print-ready, manage multiple projects and deliver concepts that communicate brand identity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
• 2+ years related experience.
• Proven experience in packaging design and point of sale displays, preferably within FMCG/manufacturing.

About the job Sr Graphic Designer: POS & Packaging

Design for some of the most (globally) well-known brands.

This role is based in office/ warehouse on the Umhlanga side of Durban.

Duties:

• Design and develop innovative and eye-catching packaging, labels and point of sales displays for consumer products
• Collaborate closely with industrial designers, account managers and manufacturing and be part of the team to see what you design being printed and built
• Conceptualize and develop creative packaging and point of sales concepts that effectively communicate brand identity
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines effectively.

Requirements and skills

• 2+ years related experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in packaging design and point of sales diplays, preferably within the FMCG / manufacturing industry.
