Placements24 is seeking an experienced Sports Facilities Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of premier sports facilities in Midrand. You will lead day-to-day management, ensure safety, and drive service quality to athletes, staff, and visitors, while planning for long-term asset care.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facility management, preferably in sports or leisure.
• Strong understanding of sports facility operations, maintenance, and safety.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in budget management and financial oversight.
• Relevant qualifications in facility management or sports management advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for all sports facilities.
• Manage maintenance, repair, and upgrade schedules for equipment and infrastructure.
• Oversee a team of facility staff, providing training and performance management.
• Coordinate with event organizers and partners for seamless events.
• Develop and manage the facility's budget and explore revenue opportunities.
• Implement and monitor health and safety protocols and emergency plans.
