Placements24 is seeking an experienced Sports Complex Operations Manager for a premier complex in Rustenburg. You will oversee daily operations, manage budgets, and lead a dedicated team to ensure safety, efficiency, and an exceptional visitor experience.

Responsibilities include coordinating events, maintaining facilities, enforcing health and safety procedures, and collaborating across staff to deliver top-tier community sports services in a busy venue.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Sports Management or related field.
5+ years of experience in facility management, preferably in sports/recreational setting.
Proven budget management and staff supervision experience.
Strong planning, safety, and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of daily sports complex operations, including venue management, event coordination, and customer service.
Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are controlled.
Lead and manage a team of facility staff, including maintenance, security, and front-desk personnel.
Ensure facilities and equipment meet highest safety and readiness standards.
Plan, schedule, and execute sporting events, tournaments, and community functions.
Implement and enforce health, safety, and emergency procedures.
