Job title : Sponsorship & Exhibition Manager

Reports to : Managing Director
Overall Responsibility: The Sponsorship and Exhibition Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of sponsorship and exhibit packages for conferences. This role involves identifying and engaging potential sponsors, creating tailored packages, and ensuring successful partnerships. The Manager collaborates closely with clients to meet their sponsorship needs while attending key meetings to track sales progress and contribute to conference planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Sponsorship & Exhibition Sales:
- Meet and exceed sponsorship and exhibition sales targets through proactive outreach.
- Develop tailored sponsorship and exhibitor packages based on client needs.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, exhibitors, and potential clients.
- Ensure regular and effective communication to foster long-term partnerships.
- Market Research & Lead Generation:
- Identify and research potential sponsors and exhibitors for each conference.
- Expand the database of prospective clients through targeted outreach.
- Sales Administration & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, agreements, and invoicing.
- Track and report on sponsorship and exhibition sales progress.
- Event Coordination & Representation:
- Oversee sponsorship and exhibition management at conferences.
- Represent the company professionally at international events.
- Marketing & Promotional Support:
- Collaborate on promotional materials to enhance sponsorship and exhibitor sales.
- Ensure alignment with conference timelines and sponsorship deadlines.
Minimum Education and / or Work Experience Requirements
Education :
- Minimum : Diploma or certificate in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.
- Preferred : Bachelors degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Work Experience :
- Minimum : 2-3 years of experience in sponsorship sales, business development, event sales, or a similar role.
- Preferred : 3-5 years of proven experience in sponsorship acquisition, exhibitor sales, or corporate partnerships within the events or conference industry.
- Experience in client relationship management, negotiation, and sales reporting.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, lead generation tools, and event planning software is a plus
