Motus Toyota Bedfordview is seeking a Controller: Repairs, Servicing and Support Services to oversee service operations and drive performance at the Bedfordview dealership. The successful candidate will manage service workflows, customer interactions and paperwork with a focus on quality and profitability.

The role reports to the Manager: Service and requires motor industry experience, strong communication, and the ability to lead and develop a service team.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education required.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control service work and related paperwork.
• Handle telephone enquiries efficiently.
• Aim to deliver gross profit by maximizing hours sold and revenue per transaction.
• Distribute and control work to Technicians to maximize efficiency.
• Lead, motivate, coach and develop the team to meet daily objectives.
• Maintain a strong relationship with the parts department to maximise parts availability.
• Ensure manufacturer warranty standards are adhered to.
• Maintain a safe working environment per Health & Safety policy.

Job description

Motus Toyota Bedfordviewcurrently holds a vacancy for a Controller: Repairs, Servicing and Support Services.

Reporting to the Manager: Service, this position will be suited to a person who will effectively monitor and controlservices, deal with telephone enquiries, and complete all necessary paperwork.

• To assist management in implementing and maintaining effective processes to achieve the highest possible customer satisfaction levels in excess of the manufacturer national average.
• To deliver gross profit in line with the business plan by maximising the number of hours sold, driving revenue per transaction, ensuring 100% adherence to the OEM process and motivating product sales.
• To distribute and control the issue of work to the Technicians to maximise quality and overall efficiency.
• To lead, motivate, coach and develop the team to achieve their daily objectives.
• To ensure a strong relationship is maintained with the parts department to maximise parts availability.
• To ensure the accurate completion of all relevant documentation for each repair.
• To ensure that the manufacturer’s warranty standards are adhered to at all times.
• To ensure that a safe working environment is maintained in line with the Company’s Health Safety policy and that general housekeeping and appearance are maintained at a high standard
