Job summary

Ghost Mountain Inn in Mkuze, KwaZulu-Natal, is seeking a qualified Spa Therapist to deliver massage and spa treatments and to bring an additional wellness discipline to guest experiences.

You’ll lead small group wellness sessions, offer private sessions, and help develop simple wellness experiences that align with our safari and outdoor offering. Accommodation is provided; provident fund and medical aid contribute after probation.

Qualifications

• Holds a recognised spa, beauty or massage therapy qualification.
• Confident and experienced practising therapist.
• Has an additional recognised wellness qualification or demonstrable experience in yoga, Pilates, stretching, mobility, breathwork or related discipline.
• Comfortable leading individuals and small groups.
• Enjoys engaging with hotel guests and creating personalised experiences.
• Willing to live and work in Mkuze, northern KwaZulu-Natal.
• Experience in hotel, lodge, resort or wellness environments is advantageous.

Job description

Ghost Mountain Inn is looking for a qualified Spa Therapist who can bring an additional wellness skill to our guest experience.

This is primarily a hands-on therapist position, delivering massage, body and spa treatments as part of our spa team. We are, however, looking for someone who can offer more than traditional spa therapy.

You may also be qualified or experienced in yoga, Pilates, guided stretching, mobility, breathwork or another complementary wellness discipline.

Alongside spa treatments, you will have the opportunity to lead small group wellness sessions, offer private sessions and help us develop simple wellness experiences that complement our safari, nature and outdoor offering.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a recognised spa, beauty or massage therapy qualification.
• Is a confident and experienced practising therapist.
• Has an additional recognised wellness qualification or demonstrable experience in yoga, Pilates, stretching, mobility, breathwork or a related discipline.
• Is comfortable leading individuals and small groups.
• Enjoys engaging with hotel guests and creating personalised experiences.
• Is proactive and comfortable working in a hotel environment.
• Is willing to live and work in Mkuze, northern KwaZulu-Natal.

Experience in a hotel, lodge, resort or wellness environment would be advantageous. Experience with

Dermalogica and/or Terres d’Afrique would also be beneficial.

This is a full-time, on-site position. Accommodation, lights and water are provided. Provident fund and medical aid contributions apply after successful completion of probation.
